Reception class enjoyed taking an imaginary trip to a camp site. They made a tent and brought all their camping items with them. In Literacy, the children drew and labelled a camp site picture. They also wrote what they could see, hear, smell, touch and taste at a camp site. In Maths, the class did some problem solving activities including finding how many different combinations of mixed up socks they could make, how many different towers they could make with coloured blocks, how many different ways coloured balls could land and how many different number sentences they could make by rolling two dice. In Creative Time, they made a camp fire, marshmallows on sticks, lanterns and a tent picture.
