Delicious Bread in DT

Year 3 enjoyed baking their own bread in a Design Technology project. They used arithmetic skills to triple the recipe and measurement skills to find the right amount of each ingredient. They each made their own mini-loaf and chose their preferred shape and types of seeds to decorate it. They learned how to knead the dough and how to use a bread knife safely. Of course, the day ended with warm bread sampling and sharing a slice with parents!
