Discover the Digestive System

During science the children in Year 4 are learning about the digestive system. They tried and experiment to see what happens inside our bodies when we eat food. First they made a banana and chocolate spread sandwich then they added washing up liquid and vinegar as saliva and acid. They mashed up the sandwich and carefully put it the into a pop sock. They had to drain the liquids from it, cut a hole at the end and squeeze out the contents. Showing all the stages of our digestive system.
