Year 3 learned about the three different types of rocks: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. They now know that fossils are formed in sedimentary rocks. In D&T, the children enjoyed making their own salt dough with flour and salt. They measured ingredients carefully and, using toy dinosaurs, they printed their own fossils which are now on display in the Library.
