Jack and the Beanstalk

Year 1 started their Fairy Tales topic in Literacy this week by sharing the story

‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. They ordered the pictures to retell the story and wrote

the names of all the characters. The children love reading the fairy tales in the book

corner! In Science the children drew around one of the girls and labelled the parts of the

body. They also decorated our own body templates. In History they thought about

growing up and sorted pictures under the headings - babies, children and adults.
