Math Snakes

Year 1 have been developing their understanding of length and the concept of longer and shorter. They have explored units of non-standard measure and used cubes to help them measure everyday objects around our classroom. They combined this with some fine motor control activities and created snakes using the correct mathematical vocabulary of longer and shorter.
