My Body

This week Reception have been exploring their bodies. They drew around one of their friends and put body part labels in the correct places. They also decorated a small body template adding hair, facial features and clothes. In Literacy they completed a sheet called ‘I Spy me!’. They wrote their name, stuck on a photo of themselves and made a paint hand print with their favourite colour. In Maths they put numbered doors in the correct place on a row of houses to make number line. During their free play they enjoyed reading the Funny bones books in the book corner, ordering the Numicon pieces and number cards, practicing their letter formation on alphabet white boards and playing ‘teachers’ with the magnetic letters too.
