Reception class have been talking about the members of their family. They drew their family tree, made a house picture with their family inside and made small books about their family too, which they enjoyed sharing with their friends. They also learnt about the Robinson family in their reading books. In Maths, they used a teddy like Kipper's teddy to practice using positional vocabulary by putting him in different places around a chair. They also shared the story 'The Toy's Party' where Kipper makes a cake with some very interesting ingredients. They decided to make their own 'cake' - they added cornflakes, ketchup, raisins, sugar, milk, flour and seeds. They enjoyed playing with the mixture outside with bowls, cupcake cases, spoons and tongs. What a mess!
