Ottoline and the Yellow Cat

Year 3 have really enjoyed reading Ottoline and the Yellow Cat in their Literacy lessons. They have been reading the chapters for the past 3 weeks and have completed many comprehension and writing tasks. Here are examples of a few: writing a postcard in the style of the ones in the novel and imagining conversations eavesdropped from a building as they are shown in the story. Children also enjoyed illustrating some of the characters found in the book.
