Year 4&5 have been learning about plastic pollution - particularly single-use plastics and the damage this is causing to the world's oceans and seas. They found out many alarming facts and discussed a number of ways in which the plastic use in their homes and in school could be reduced. To highlight this issue, the children made collages of sea creatures. Half of the sea creature was covered with images of plastic packaging and embellished with bottle tops and straws and the other half showed the skull and part-skeleton of these creatures which are dying as a result of plastic pollution. Graphic but effective. What could YOU do to reduce the amount of plastic you use?
