Reception class had fun on their imaginary trip to the Polar Regions. They dressed in their coats, hats, scarves and gloves and took the amazing sledges that they had made at home and their teddies with them. They also made binoculars and used them to spot 5 different polar animals amongst the icebergs. They drew and labelled each one with their partners. At the end of their expedition, the class sat on an iceberg to eat their snack packs. At home time, the children invited their parents to come and see the animals that they had seen and their sledges which are now on display in the Library. What a busy day! Well done, Reception class, and thank you to all the parents for helping to make the sledges and for coming to see them in the dining room.
