Residential Trip

Last week, Year 5 & 6 had the opportunity to spend a night away from home on their residential trip! Firstly, they paid a visit to El Torcal. They learned about: the origin and formation of karst landscapes; imitative rock formations; the marine fossils of Ammonites and Belemnites; and the plant and animal life in the area. They then stayed in La Sierrecilla in Antequera. Here they got to enjoy some time in the swimming pool and some of them faced their fears on the zip line and ropes course! They spent the night there in cabins, however all the excitement meant there wasn't much sleeping done! All in all, they had a fantastic time and it was a great opportunity for all to make some memories with each other before the Year 6s move on to their new schools.
