The Secret Life of Pets

The next theme that Reception class explored for their Magnificent Me topic was 'Pets'. In Literacy they re-told the story ‘Dear Zoo’ with pictures and labels. In Maths they went on a pet treasure hunt where they counted the number of pets on each picture around the outside area and wrote the numbers on their recording sheets. They also played a game called 'Give the dog a bone' where they fed the dog the correct amount of bones. In Creative Time they made a dog picture using newspaper and decorated and cut out their own pet masks.
