The Tallest Tower Challenge

Year 1 have begun the Tallest Tower Challenge! They have been using their communication skills to work as a team to join together different materials and shapes to create the tallest possible tower. They used their bodies as non-standard units of measure to measure the height and width of their towers. They used their Science knowledge to evaluate which materials would work well for their towers. They also used their Design and Technology skills to design, plan and build the tallest tower. They are engineers in the making!
