Where the Wild Things Are

This week, the Year One Classroom transformed into the forest from Maurice Sendak’s book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, with trees growing and Wild Thing footprints covering the floor!

The children have enjoyed reading the story. They liked pretending to be Max and creating his wolf ears. They re-told the story using puppets and even made Wild Thing cupcakes.
