Year 4&5 have been looking closely at the different journeys animals make when they migrate. They have looked at land, sea and air migration and evaluated the difficulties, distance and effort that each animal faces on their migration. The class split into groups and used persuasive language to try and convince their parents and family friends that their creature made the toughest migration - Wildebeest, Monarch Butterfly, Arctic Tern or Leatherback Turtle. Once all the facts had been presented, the panel of parents and family friends voted. It was deemed that the animal which has the toughest migration is the Leatherback Turtle. What do you think?
