It is the aim of Calpe School that every child should have the best possible learning opportunities and It is our aim that every child, including those with special educational needs, are supported and encouraged.

There are well developed procedures at Calpe School to enable early identification of children from whom additional teaching provisions may be necessary.

Special needs children may be children who are “gifted” or whose first language is not English

 

Children may be supported in the classroom or offered individual tuition with a specialist teacher.

​

We have trained members of teaching staff to advise parents and liaise on any additional teaching is required in any area.
