EYFS
(2–5 years)

The early childhood years are wonder years. It is a time when a child's mind is absorbing everything they see, do and hear.

Stimulated by a wealth of tactile games and experiences, the essential building blocks for the future learning of the children,

are being laid down.

We want to be a part of this special time in your child’s life.

At Calpe School we are extremely proud of our Early Years Foundation Stage unit. We believe every child deserves the best start in life to enable them to fulfil their potential and we recognise that every child is unique and that they all develop and learn in different ways and at different rates.

The children in Early Years learn through the use of role-play in a “Happy to Learn” environment and are supported in all areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

With a high teacher to pupil ratio, a team of highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff will ensure your child will develop in confidence and social awareness that ensures each child receives the individual attention

and support they need.
